The t-test
One of the commonly used tests for determining statistical significance is known as the t-test, which is suitable for interval and ratio data.
The formula for the t-test is as follows:
Calculate the mean average values for two samples.
Calculate the standard deviation (SD).
Calculate the observed difference between both mean values.
Calculate the standard error (SE) of the mean by dividing the SD by the square root of the number of people in the sample (n).
Divide the observed difference in mean values by the SE.
